The ground floor houses a parking area, a gym, and a servant room. To maintain a sense of openness and ensure adequate ventilation, the design features openings on the front and back sides of the ground floor, while the other two sides remain closed.
On the first floor, the layout includes a living room, dining area, an open kitchen, a bedroom, and a common toilet. The living room is adjacent to an open-to-sky courtyard, a central feature that allows natural light to permeate the space, enhancing the sense of openness and connection with nature. This courtyard also serves as the location for the staircase that ascends to the second floor. A small balcony at the back of the first floor further promotes cross ventilation, contributing to the overall comfort of the living spaces.
The second floor is dedicated to the private areas of the home, featuring three bedrooms, each equipped with an attached dressing area and toilet. A passage connects these bedrooms and overlooks the open-to-sky courtyard below, creating a sense of continuity between the floors. The passage is highlighted by a WPC louver ceiling, adding a touch of elegance and sophistication to the space. A visually striking triangular pattern, textured on the wall adjacent to the staircase, enhances the interior's aesthetic appeal. A separate staircase on this floor provides access to the terrace, adding an additional outdoor space to the home.
The interior furnishing of the bungalow is designed to infuse a lively and energetic atmosphere through the use of vibrant colours and carefully selected materials. Each room in the bungalow is thoughtfully furnished to reflect a modern, dynamic lifestyle while maintaining a sense of comfort and warmth. In the bedrooms, the use of vibrant colours is balanced with subtle, calming tones to create a relaxing yet invigorating environment.
Overall, this design maximizes the potential of the limited plot size by integrating functional areas with thoughtful architectural elements like the open-to-sky courtyard and strategically placed openings for ventilation. The G+2 structure successfully provides all necessary rooms and amenities, resulting in a comfortable and spacious 4-bedroom bungalow that meets the client's needs while maintaining a modern and stylish aesthetic.
