Site context of 2346 sq. ft. plot area resides in the dense gaothan area of Nanded city.
The site faces a road on the East side. The dwelling is designed for a joint family in which spaces are designed to cater to the daily needs that represent them to the new generation.
The ground floor features an east-facing commercial showroom strategically positioned for maximum visibility and accessibility, leveraging road frontage for commercial appeal. The first floor begins with an entrance lobby that acts as a transition from the commercial zone to the private residence. The living area, designed with neutral tones, curved forms, and a textured back panel, exudes warmth and sophistication. A parent’s room is strategically placed for privacy and accessibility. The triple-height courtyard, clad in natural stone with textured finishes and a water feature, enhances ventilation and creates a serene ambiance. A centrally positioned family area connects to the courtyard, dining, and living spaces, fostering interaction. The dining area, adjacent to a modern kitchen, extends to a road-facing balcony, fostering an indoor-outdoor connection. Lift access ensures seamless vertical circulation.
On the second floor, the family area overlooking the courtyard enhances spatial continuity and connects to a balcony with street views. The floor accommodates three bedrooms—a master and two children’s rooms—designed with privacy, comfort, and natural ventilation in mind, while lift access ensures smooth movement between floors. The third floor features another family area with a front-facing balcony, offering a more private space for relaxation. It houses four well-planned bedrooms catering to an extended family's needs while maintaining a balance of privacy and connectivity, with continued lift access for effortless mobility.
Architectural elements such as the curved elevation create a distinct identity, subtly reflected in the interiors. The central courtyard ensures natural ventilation and ample daylight, while the material palette, comprising neutral tones, natural stone cladding, textured walls, and patterned flooring, enhances the ambiance. Road-facing balconies on each level strengthen the indoor-outdoor interaction. Despite the constraints of a narrow plot, Curve-Scape successfully maximizes space through intelligent planning, fluid spatial organization, and seamless vertical circulation. With its dynamic curves, abundant natural light, and efficient zoning, the project sets a benchmark for modern, high-density urban living.
